Sandbox Mode is a game type in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, where players can explore Fortune City without a time limit. The mode can be played solo or in co-op mode with Chuck and Frank. The mode will have "...no time limit, no story, no depleting health."^[1]

Challenges [ ]

The mode allows the player to complete different challenges placed throughout Fortune City, so players wishing to have a little structure can earn extra cash in the process. The cash can be used at the pawn shops and vending machines around Fortune City. The challenges range from collection style challenges to vehicle-based challenges to zombie massacre challenges; the higher the rank of the player, the more cash they win.^[2] ^[3] ^[4] ^[5]

Every survivor appears for 10 hours, except for Woodrow, Rebecca and Jack who appear for slightly less time. Every psychopath appears for 12 hours.
